The short version: We collect absolutely zero personal data. Your income details, deductions, and tax calculations are processed entirely in your browser and are never transmitted to our servers or any third party. Period.
1. Our Privacy Philosophy
At OneApp Calculators, privacy is not an afterthought or a compliance checkbox — it is a foundational architectural principle. We designed OneApp Calculators from the ground up as a 100% client-side application specifically so that your financial data would never need to leave your device. We cannot see your income. We cannot see your deductions. We cannot see your tax results. This is by design, and it is permanent.
2. Data We Collect
Personal Financial Data: None. Zero. We do not collect, store, process, or transmit any income figures, deduction amounts, or tax calculation results that you enter into the calculator. All processing occurs locally in your browser using JavaScript.
Personal Identification Data: None. OneApp Calculators does not require registration, accounts, or login. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, PAN number, Aadhaar, or any other identifying information to use the tax calculator.
Automatic Data: Our hosting provider (Firebase/Google) may collect basic server logs such as IP addresses and browser types for infrastructure security purposes. We do not access, analyse, or use these logs for any purpose.
3. Cookies and Local Storage
OneApp Calculators uses only essential browser local storage for one purpose: remembering your dark mode or light mode preference. This is a single key-value pair stored in your browser's localStorage. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or any third-party cookie services. If you use the contact form, messages are stored in your browser's localStorage as well — they are not sent to any server.
4. Third-Party Services
OneApp Calculators is hosted on Firebase Hosting by Google. Firebase Hosting serves static files and does not process, store, or have access to any data you enter into the calculator. We do not integrate any third-party analytics tools (no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no Hotjar, no Mixpanel, or similar services). We do not display advertisements. We do not share any data with any third party because there is no data to share.
5. Data Retention
Since we do not collect personal data, there is nothing to retain. The numbers you enter into the calculator exist only in your browser's memory (RAM) while the page is open. When you close the tab or navigate away, all calculation data is automatically cleared by your browser. No traces remain on our end because no data was ever transmitted.
6. Your Rights
You have full control over your data at all times because it never leaves your possession. You can clear your browser's local storage at any time to remove the theme preference. You can use the calculator in private/incognito mode for even greater peace of mind. There is no data to request deletion of, no profiles to deactivate, and no accounts to close.
7. Children's Privacy
OneApp Calculators is a tax calculation tool intended for adults who file income tax returns. However, since we collect no personal data whatsoever, there is no risk of inadvertently collecting data from minors.
8. Changes to This Policy
If we ever change our privacy practices, we will update this page accordingly. However, our core commitment — processing all data client-side and collecting zero personal information — is a permanent architectural decision that will not change.
